The program will teach the user how to identify salient clinical problems through observation and reflection on the kinds of judgment and actions exhibited by expert, acute and critical care nurses. There are pauses in the action to allow the user to consult additional clinical information and record their own perceptions and insights. A printed "Instructors Manual", written by Dr. Benner, will describe the program and show how it can be used in courses focused on clinical judgment and also as a model for staff development activities for nurses in practice.
