A collection of sermons entered into the "Times" newspaper's competition for the best sermon in the UK. For the second consecutive year the competition now includes sermons from the Jewish community. In 1995 The Times newspaper in London launched a competition for the best sermon in the United Kingdom. The now annual event has produced four best-selling books and four winning preachers: a radio broadcaster from Leeds, a Catholic priest from Scotland, a colorful Anglican vicar, and a black preacher from Sheffield. For the second consecutive year, the competition now includes sermons from the Jewish community.
