Gateway of Ramesses IX in the Temple of Amun at Karnak by A.M.A. Amer

Part of the greatest temple in Egypt, this is the publication of a little-known major work of one of the last kings of the Egyptian empire. After a brief introduction, the scenes are described, the inscriptions translated and the role of the gateway and its decoration discussed. The book concludes with drawings of the hieroglyphic texts and plates of the entire gateway, both photographic and line.
